This award is given annually to a graduating senior who has demonstrated excellence in the study of French as well as exceptional commitment to the French language and the many cultures where it is spoken.
In addition to her four years of consistent academic excellence, Ashley has been co-student leader of the SHP French Club; she has participated in the Sacred Heart Exchange Program in Bondues, France; she has traveled to France and Québec; she has done fundraising and volunteer work for the French Program. Ashley also impressed us all recently with her independent study and scholarly work on “Paris and the Post Great War Malaise: The Impact of the City of Lights on U.S. Expatriate Literature.” Toutes nos félicitations ! |
